French Cooperation Office in Dili
Palm Business & Trade center, block D, 4th floor, Fatumeta, Dili. to present the work of the East Timor Fisheries and Marine Association (APM-TL) during the year.
His excellent Dr. José Lucas do Carmo da Silva President of APM-TL said; The objective of this meeting was to introduce the Association Fisheries and Marine Timor Lorosa’e’s Vision and Mission including Programs and Activities to the Embassy. In the near future, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be signed with APM-TL to implement programs and action plans related to Climate Mitigation and Ocean Action.
From this meeting, Ms. Julie Browns Head of the French office for Timor-Leste, Embassy of France. Told; they have many opportunities to support Timor-Leste's local NGOs but all these processes require deeper trust from the entities how to implement programs and activities according to standard operating procedures (SOP). She is also encouraged APM-TL to seek more information about KIWA Initiative because of full funding by France.
